| My love for primitive country decorating came when I was about 12 years old. My aunt moved into this house that was actually once a blueberry farm. The previous owners had left some things in the barn that immediately caught my eye. Among my findings were some old hand-crafted baskets and an old egg wire basket. To some, these would have been considered trash, to me, it was a treasure!

| My husband and I have been married for 19 years and have 2 children. We live on a "mini farm" with horses and a donkey. No farm is complete without a donkey! We are very involved with soccer and 4-H with our horses.

| I have always wanted to have my own primitive country giftshop, and my family has been very encouraging and supportive in my new adventure.
